Chocolate Creations founders love their work!Frank and Debbie Mazzarella started Chocolate Creations in 2006. They create delicious chocolate confections for special occasions, holidays, corporate events and just plain enjoyment. They are always asked how and why they started their own business. Initially, Debbie started making chocolate for family and friends. She did not like baking, but wanted to take something to family gatherings and parties. She then started making favors for weddings, showers and other special occasions that would arise. Debbie started making deserts and favors using chocolate that she would purchase from a local candy distributor. Eventually as more and more requests came in, she started experimenting with real milk chocolate. In 2005 Frank and Debbie were approached with an offer to purchase store contents of a pre-existing chocolate store. With this opportunity came a decision that had to be made. However, one question came to their minds, can Frank learn how to make chocolate? Frank was a quick learner and he liked to experiment. Once he learned the basics, he created his own recipe for their milk chocolate. The chocolate creation that he created is a mixture of different Swiss chocolates blended together. This recipe is exclusively used at Chocolate Creations. Frank and Debbie attend seminars and classes for all the newest techniques. This allows them to be competitive and to keep abreast with other chocolatiers of artisan chocolates. Frank likes to experiment with new techniques such as airbrushing and printing on chocolate. Give them an idea or suggestion and they will work with you to create a unique item to accent your special event. Quality and customer satisfaction is very important to both of them and they strive to see that everyone leaves their store happy.
